This 12-day accelerated EMT course is primarily designed for ambitious college students preparing for medical, PA, nursing, or other healthcare professional schools. The course combines minimal online prep work with high-impact, full-day in-person training. Students are required to complete pre-class assignments (including online modules and readings) to be ready for hands-on learning starting on June 9th. 12 daily sessions from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM provide immersive education through live instruction, skills labs, and patient care scenarios.

Clinical Opportunities
This course opens the door to real clinical work while pursing your certification and beyond. You will have the opportunity to ride with our partner EMS agency to experience real emergency medicine hands-on. With your EMT certification, you can pursue paid or volunteer roles in emergency departments, ambulance services, event medical teams, and research settings. This hands-on patient care experience is highly valued by admissions committees and provides a deeper understanding of the healthcare system.

This course will be hosted in Arden Hills, MN at the National Guard Training Facility. The course dates are June 9th through June 23rd, 2025 daily from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM.

You will be required to complete 40 hours of online course work prior to the in-person sessions in June. This material is self paced and included in the cost of tuition.

The cost of the program is $2300.00 + Tax. This includes your online pre-course work, a uniform, textbook, in-person training, and national registry physical examination test fee.

The course is open to anyone, however, this course is designed primarily for college students—especially pre-med, pre-PA, nursing, and other pre-health students—looking to earn EMT certification and gain hands-on clinical experience.
No. Prior medical experience is not necessary. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to become a certified EMT.
The course runs for 12 days straight, with classes from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM in Arden Hills, MN. There is minimal online coursework (40 hours) to complete before the in-person portion begins.
You’ll be asked to complete 40 hours of federally required training modules and introductory EMT readings. This material will focus primarily on human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. If you have a strong grasp of these concepts already, it will go quickly. These should be done before Day 1 to ensure you're ready for hands-on training.
We emphasize scenario-based training, led by paramedics and physicians, to mirror real emergency situations. You won’t just memorize content—you’ll apply it in simulated field conditions.
Upon successful completion, you’ll be eligible to take the National Registry EMT exam. Once passed, you can work as an EMT in most states.
Yes! EMTs are in high demand. Many students go on to work in emergency departments, ambulance services, and campus safety teams.
Tuition is $2,495. This includes all instruction, skill labs, scenario training, and support materials. It does not include the cost of the NREMT exam or certification fees.
