We are excited to offer hybrid EMT courses! With a heavy focus on real-world scenarios and dedicated hands-on learning, students will walk away with practical experience that gives them a competitive edge in their medical and professional development.
This hybrid EMT course is primarily designed for individuals who wish to receive their EMT but have limited availability for in person course time. This course is hosted live over zoom, which allows students to have access to experienced instructors as they progress through course material. We equip students with life-saving skills, real-world clinical experience, and a certification that adds weight to any healthcare application.
The course combines online lectures with high-impact in-person training. Students are required to complete pre-class assignments (including online modules and readings) to be ready for weekly lecture times and hands-on skill days. Two weekly daily sessions from 7 PM to 10 PM provide immersive education through live virtual instruction. Five in-person Saturday lab days prepare you for the skills portion of the NREMT Exam.
All sessions are led by experienced paramedics and guided by physicians who understand what pre-health students need to thrive. With a strong foundation in emergency care and an eye toward your future in medicine, our instructors create a challenging, supportive environment for learning.
This isn’t just lectures and tests. You’ll run dynamic, realistic emergency scenarios in small crews, rotating between roles to build both confidence and competence. Our scenario-based approach emphasizes clinical decision-making, teamwork, and adaptability in real-world EMS situations.
This course opens the door to real clinical work while pursing your certification and beyond. You will have the opportunity to ride with our partner EMS agency to experience real emergency medicine hands-on. With your EMT certification, you can pursue paid or volunteer roles in emergency departments, ambulance services, event medical teams, and research settings. This hands-on patient care experience is highly valued by admissions committees and provides a deeper understanding of the healthcare system.
We limit enrollment to ensure plenty of hands-on time, individualized feedback, and a tight-knit learning community. No getting lost in a crowd—you’ll work closely with your instructors and classmates.
You will be required to complete 40 hours of online course work prior to the in-person sessions in June. This material is self paced and included in the cost of tuition.

The cost of the program is $2,275.88.
